Dena Izumigawa, CFP®
Dena joins the Scarbrough Financial Team from Ameriprise Financial. With over ten years’ experience in the financial sector, she has a passion for working with women and their families, emphasizing wealth management. Dena brings a far-seeing eye to financial planning, and a superior ability to map out strategies. Since graduating from UC Santa Cruz, Dena went on to earn her CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification in 2012.
A third-generation Californian, Dena lived abroad in Japan and Spain for many years, and has traveled extensively throughout Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and Central and South America. Dena’s appreciation of foreign culture has led her to the regular practice of Japanese Shotokan Karate. Her uniquely broadened world view enhances her poise and discipline. While devoted to international culture, art and languages, we are fortunate that Dena calls San Francisco her home. Dena, her husband, and their son live in beautiful Presidio District, just a short walk to the ocean and the Golden Gate Bridge.
